After taking over the family farm, as the 4th generation with a computer engineering college education in the bag, I looked for opportunities to bring these two worlds together in a new way. On the farm in Lärbro, we have grown grain and in the work around this, I have always been annoyed by the need for pesticides. The work with Tegbot and Pest-ifier is a first step in the journey towards making conventional agriculture sustainable.

With a PhD in theoretical chemistry from Lund University of Technology and 20 years of experience in image analysis through AI, meeting the challenges of agriculture was both an eye-opener and a challenge for me. I can see how mine and Fredrik’s knowledge together can contribute not only to better agriculture, but also to a better world.
